Forum: dtMaxDate undefined - Causes IE6-8 Error
jraffucci 3692 days ago | This is a recap of my previous post because it did not have an informative title. I installed JAWStats on my server. Everything works on Chrome and FF. When I attempt to check the site with IE6-8 I get the following Error:
Webpage error details User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 5.1; Trident/4.0) Timestamp: Fri, 30 Oct 2009 22:11:13 UTC Message: 'dtMaxDate' is undefined Line: 3261 Char: 28 Code: 0 URI: http://stats.greenleaf.pro/js/jawstats.js?200901251254 After messing around with the source code I found that the only difference between my site and the jawstat demo site was that the g_bUseStaticXML variable was set to true. Once I manually set this to true the error disappeared but no data showed on my site. This is a big bug, I am surprised no one else has mentioned it when running IE. Please get back to me as soon as possible so that we can resolve this issue. |
jraffucci 3692 days ago | Well I figured it out. I am running PHP v5.3 and the function split has been deprecated. As a result clsAWStats.php generates errors when it produces an xml file. While Chrome and Firefox ignore these errors Internet Explorer (IE) does not. On line 208 of the file I changed split to explode and everything was fixed. |
